MACRAME bracelets

These bracelets are made with a lot ol love patience and around 500 knots of Brazilian wax cord. The beads we use are from brass, gold plated, silver and glass. The stones are from all over the world and the settings are made by Indonesian artisans. It takes around 8 hours to knot, a good reason why we call our brand Sabar, the word for Patience

I work with local artist, mainly women who are given the opportunity to work from home if they like. This way they have freedom to be a mum and at the same time support their family with extra income .

Sabar was born during the pandemic. When I was around 10 years old I used to accompany my father who is an artpainter on different artfairs. Thats were I started to sell small handmade juwelery for fun

Having met so many beautiful Balinese people over the years of travelling to Bali, made me think about starting a business to both be creative and help the local people to get some jobs too during covid 

 

Sabar has a dream to give jobs to the Balinese people to work from home so they have an opportunity to have more freedom
